Audley Anderson

February 22, 2008

audley-anderson.gifA few years ago the BBC decided to challenge the then dominance of a certain ITV reality show Pop Idol, and launched The Fame Academy.

In our opinion it was good for only two things;

Lemar and the other Audley Anderson.

In 2003 Audley was selected as one the 13 finalists out of 30,000 hopefuls for the prime time TV show, and since then has gone on to to support top UK and US Soul/RnB acts Omar, Boyz II Men and Tyrese. Audley has turned into one of the UK’s most talented soul performers, performing up and down the UK and abroad. After leaving the show Audley was offered a recording contract which he accepted but due to differences in ideas he parted company with them.

Did that stop him?

No!

Audley did what many artists fail to do, he did it himself. He recorded material and started performing in venues all over the UK. Audley signed up to the online portal Sellaband where fans can invest in their favourite emerging artists.

Not only is Audley out performing and entertaining audiences, he also mentors young people giving something back to the community, we applaud you.

What’s happening now?

Audley is in the process of recording his new album “Journeys into Soul“, if you want to hear what it sounds like go to his website www.audleyanderson.com.
