Calling all amateur musicians, performers or beginners (with a good sense of rhythm) with a desire to learn Indian percussion
Taal Zindigi – Rhythm of Life Ensemble
Are you interested in percussion? Would you like to take part in free workshops led by top percussionists such as Baluji Shrivastav (tabla) Manjit Rasiya (tabla) RN Prakash (mridangam), culminating in a live festival performance alongside 8 professional musicians at Croydon Summer Festival on August 1st?
You will be taught by celebrated musicians and workshop leader Baluji Shrivastav, and participate in his exciting new percussion project Taal Zindigi (Rhythm of Life).
Workshops are planned at the Asian Resource Centre, Day Lewis House, Thornton Heath, Croydon over 2 days in late July (30th & 31st). Spaces are limited and we are encouraging groups as well as individuals to apply.

This project is ideally suited to those 16 years and above but open to over 14s.

Closing date to apply for forms is 30th May and to return forms June 15th. There are a limited number of slots so don’t miss out.
