Midem Closes Another Year

In the playground of the rich and famous, the world’s music market MIDEM, where nearly 10,000 international music (labels, publishers, artist managers and many more), digital and mobile professionals gather to do business closes its doors for another year today.
Midem is probably the best known music industry ‘trade’ event. It is held at the Palais De Festivals in Cannes each year around this time people from around the world meet to thrash out new deals, discuss new trends, technologies and the general state of the Global music industry. Midem is also the place where the industry goes to check out the newest, freshest musical talent that they may want to sign to recording or publishing deals.
