No Grammy Performance for Amy Winehouse

Music news this morning reports that singer Amy Winehouse will not be performing in person as planned at this year’s Grammy Awards after being denied a US Visa.
Former Brit School student Amy Winehouse has been nominated for six awards including best record, best album and song of the year.
The Grammy Awards is the pinnacle awards ceremony in the music business, and receiving an award can really catapult an artists career into the stratosphere.
A spokesperson for the singer said she is “disappointed” at not being able to perform in person at the show, although it is rumoured that Winehouse will perform via satelite.
