Trixta
April 12, 2010
Born in Hammersmith West London, Trixta was raised by his mother who at the time wanted better for herself & son. The decision was made; the two relocated settling in a town called Croydon. This was to be the making of a true entertainer. Coming from a musical background, it was no coincidence that the young Trixta would follow the foot prints set by his family members, by displaying an intense passion for music. At age 7, the youngster was keen to learn the skills of mixing & scratching using twin turntables
Since then Trixta has honed his skills as a lyricist and performer and has been entertaining audiences all over London and further afield. Particularly in his home town of Croydon he has delighted audiences at talent competitions such as Testing 123, The Pride of Croydon Concert and more where he has recieved media coverage for his amazing performances, if you haven’t seen Trixta perform then you should make it your business to catch him whenever you can.
Not only is Trixta an accomplished performer but his has also entered the entreprenueral sphere and launched his own clothing range under the name Love, Life and Laughter. Trixta states;
I wanted a slogan that spoke to many people on all levels, a slogan that represented peace whilst somehow giving you a feel good factor every time you saw it. Coincidentally I had just finished recording my EP that needed a title. The decision was made Love Life & Laughter became the suitable slogan/ title of choice. I needed away of promoting my new EP and one the first things that sprang to mind were T-Shirts. I figured if I was seen wearing a Love Life & Laughter T-Shirt it would attract more attention and could be a resourceful income stream in addition to being a promo tool.
In August 2009 I managed to design and print a small run of Men and Women’s T-Shirts. The aim was to sell these T-Shirts (with a little help from my friends) at shows and events I was performing at. The first couple of runs proved to be a success with my audience which in return gave me the incentive to print and sell more stock. This lead to the big launch of Triple-lclothing.com January this year. I was able to sell my product online and introduce both Men and Women’s Jumpers and hoodies to the collection.
